Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains in plain language what personal data we collect when you visit our website, place an order, or get in touch — why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it under United Arab Emirates law.

1. Introduction

Woofy.ae cares about the privacy of every pet parent who shops with us. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect when you visit our website, place an order, or get in touch, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it under United Arab Emirates law.

We will only allow such a transfer where the receiving party agrees to protect your data on terms at least as protective as this Policy.

5. Cross-border transfers of personal data

Woofy primarily processes your personal data inside the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers, in particular cloud hosting, email, and analytics providers, are based outside the UAE. Where this is the case, we transfer personal data outside the UAE only where the UAE PDPL allows us to, including where:

  • You have given your explicit consent to the transfer.
  • The transfer is necessary to perform the contract with you, for example sending your address to an international logistics partner for cross-border delivery.

If you would like more information about a specific transfer, please write to us at the address in section 12.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within 30 calendar days, or sooner where possible. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy and, where the change is material, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the website.
